Background
Deborah Samuel is a photo-based artist who has exhibited her work widely in the United States, Canada and internationally.
Her photographs are in several public, corporate and private collections. While she has worked extensively as a commercial artist, she now focuses
on her own fine art projects exclusively. Samuel has led photographic workshops throughout North America, and her work has earned numerous awards.
Samuel was born in Vancouver, Canada and raised between Toronto, Canada and Adare, Ireland. She completed Art Fundamentals at Limerick College of Art & Design, Limerick, Ireland, 1974-75 and the Applied Photography Program at Sheridan College, Oakville, Ontario in 1975-77.
